Truckcess for Organizations — Bulk CDL Academy Seats for Schools, Districts, Government & Fleets

Train your drivers' CDL theory at scale. Buy a block of Truckcess CDL Academy seats and hand out one code per student. Seats never expire until a student activates one; each activation unlocks 12 months of full CDL Academy access, with a completion certificate and an admin roster you can export as CSV. Pay by card or request an invoice on PO / net-30 terms.

Bulk seat pricing

  • Team: 20 seats at $149/seat — $2,980. A starter block of 20 seats — buy with a card and start handing out codes today.
  • Organization: 50 seats at $129/seat — $6,450. 50 seats at a lower per-seat rate. Pay by card or request an invoice (PO / net-30).
  • Enterprise: 100 seats at $109/seat — $10,900. 100 seats at our best standard rate. Card or invoice, with a dedicated contact.
  • Enterprise+: More than 100 seats? We'll build a custom quote and invoice on your terms.

How it works for organizations

  1. Buy or request an invoice: Purchase a seat block by card, or request an invoice on PO / net-30 terms. We issue your redemption codes and email a Seat Kit to your contact.
  2. Distribute codes to your students: Hand out one code per student. Unactivated seats sit in your account and never expire, so you can buy ahead of your intake with no clock running.
  3. Students self-activate: Each student creates a free account and enters their code at /activate. That unlocks 12 months of full CDL Academy access — with no provisioning work for your staff.
  4. Track completions and pull your roster: Watch progress on your admin roster, export it as CSV, and collect each student's QR-verifiable completion certificate and per-unit assessment record.

A fraction of the classroom cost

The same 20 students, three ways. Bulk seats are a one-time cost for 12 months of access each — not a recurring per-seat subscription. Truckcess delivers the theory portion of training; behind-the-wheel instruction and the state road test are separate.

  • Classroom CDL training (full program): 20 students at $1,500+ per head is $30,000+ — the low end of the $3,000–$10,000 full-program range.
  • Consumer Academy bought individually: 20 students at $216/yr retail is $4,320/yr.
  • Truckcess Team block: 20 seats at $149/seat is just $2,980 for 12 months of access each.

Industry context

  • 160,000: The truck-driver shortfall the American Trucking Associations projects by 2030 — with roughly 1.2 million new drivers needed over the decade to keep pace. Every seat you activate moves a trained student one step closer to a CDL. Bulk seats let your program scale intake without scaling cost. (Source: American Trucking Associations driver-shortage forecast)
  • $3,000–$10,000: What a full CDL training program typically costs per student in 2025 — community-college programs run less, private schools more. Truckcess delivers the theory portion of that training for $109–$149 per seat, so your budget stretches across far more students. (Source: CDL tuition ranges, 2025 (ELDT Nation))
  • $8,234+: The Upper Great Plains Transportation Institute's estimate to replace one driver who quits or washes out; recent carrier snapshots put it as high as $12,000–$14,000. Students who study with narration, spaced repetition, and honest readiness scoring are better prepared to pass — protecting the money you spent getting them there. Everything your students need to study

  • Class A & B theory, end to end: General Knowledge, Air Brakes, Combination Vehicles, and Non-Driving Duties & Compliance — plus a dedicated Pre-Trip Inspection course for the verbalized walkaround skills exam.
  • Every endorsement your students need: Hazmat (H), Tanker (N), Doubles/Triples (T), Passenger (P), and School Bus (S) — each its own course with exam-grade questions and explanations.
  • Built around 49 CFR Part 380 Appendices A–E: The curriculum is organized around the theory topics FMCSA lists for entry-level driver training, so a registered provider's self-certified theory maps cleanly onto it.
  • Aligned to each student's state handbook: Students pick their testing state and get a link to that state's official CDL handbook, with each lesson pointing to the handbook section that covers it.

Solutions by organization type

  • CDL Schools: Buy CDL Academy seats in bulk, hand one code to each enrolled student, and keep a clean roster of who finished. Your instructors focus on behind-the-wheel; Truckcess carries the theory.
  • Districts & Colleges: Stand up commercial-driver theory for your career-tech or continuing-education program without hiring theory instructors. Buy seats on a purchase order and keep a per-student completion trail for your records.
  • Government & Workforce: Buy CDL Academy seats for your workforce, re-entry, or veterans program on a purchase order. Seats never expire until a participant activates one, so grant cycles and enrollment timing never burn a seat.
  • Carriers & Fleets: Train commercial-driver theory in-house, on your drivers' schedule, with one consistent curriculum. Buy seats in bulk, hand out codes, and confirm each driver finished before behind-the-wheel.

What your training director gets

  • Narrated lessons — study on the road: Every lesson has read-aloud narration, so students can review theory hands-free between shifts, in the yard, or on the road. Learning doesn't stop when the classroom closes.
  • Spaced repetition built for retention: An SM-2 review engine resurfaces each concept right before a student would forget it — efficient recall practice across the topics in 49 CFR Part 380 Appendices A–E.
  • Readiness scoring that won't overpromise: The Test Readiness engine only shows a student as 'exam-ready' after they clear the threshold AND pass a full mock exam. Your directors see real preparedness, not a participation badge.
  • Per-unit assessment records — an audit-ready trail: Every course keeps a per-unit assessment record and a QR-verifiable completion certificate, so your program has documented proof of what each student covered and passed.

Who it's for

  • CDL schools & driving academies: Give every enrolled student structured theory prep at a fraction of your classroom cost, and keep a clean roster of who finished.
  • School districts & community colleges: Add a CDL pathway to your CTE or workforce catalog, purchased on a PO, with a per-student completion trail for your records.
  • Workforce & government programs: Fund seats for job-seekers and veterans. Seats never expire until they're activated, so grant timing never wastes a dollar.
  • Carriers & fleets training their own drivers: Standardize the theory your drivers learn, train it in-house on their schedule, and track completion before they ever touch a truck.

For registered training providers

Truckcess CDL Academy is theory training built around the topics in 49 CFR Part 380 Appendices A–E. Registered training providers can deliver their theory curriculum on Truckcess under their own TPR self-certification. Truckcess itself is not an FMCSA-registered training provider, and completing the Academy is not, on its own, Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT).

Your school remains responsible for your Training Provider Registry (TPR) listing, your self-certified curriculum, and reporting completions to FMCSA. We give you the study platform, the per-student roster, and the assessment records — you keep control of certification.

Organizations FAQ

How do bulk seats work?
You buy a block of seats and receive one redemption code per seat in a Seat Kit. You hand a code to each student; the student creates a free account and enters the code to unlock 12 months of full CDL Academy access. Codes you haven't handed out simply wait in your account.
Can we try it before we buy?
Yes — request a free pilot on this page. We'll set up a small set of complimentary seats so you can run real students through the CDL Academy before committing to a block. Nothing is charged for the pilot, and each pilot seat you activate unlocks a full 12 months of access for that student.
Do seats expire?
Unactivated seats never expire — buy ahead of your intake with no clock running. The 12-month access window only starts when a student activates their code.
What happens if a student drops out?
Once a code has been activated it is consumed and can't be reused or transferred — the same way an opened seat can't go back on the shelf. Codes you never handed out stay available for the next student, indefinitely.
How do students activate their seat?
Each student creates a free Truckcess account, goes to /activate, and enters the code you gave them. Activation is instant and takes about a minute — your staff doesn't have to provision anything.
Can I pay by invoice, PO, or net-30?
Yes. The Organization, Enterprise, and Enterprise+ blocks can be invoiced on PO / net-30 terms — request an invoice on this page and nothing is charged until it's paid. The starter Team block is card-only.
How does volume pricing work?
The per-seat price drops as the block grows: $149/seat at 20 seats, $129/seat at 50, and $109/seat at 100. Need more than 100 seats or a custom mix? We'll build a quote.
Do you offer refunds?
Unactivated seats can be refunded. Once a seat is activated it has been used and isn't refundable. Reach out and we'll sort out any unused portion of your block.
What roster and data access do administrators get?
You get an admin roster showing which codes are activated and each student's course progress, exportable as CSV. You also collect every student's QR-verifiable completion certificate and per-unit assessment record.
Is this ELDT? Is Truckcess FMCSA-registered?
No. Truckcess CDL Academy is theory training built around the topics in 49 CFR Part 380 Appendices A–E — it is study software, not Entry-Level Driver Training, and Truckcess is not an FMCSA-registered training provider. Registered training providers can deliver their theory curriculum on Truckcess under their own TPR self-certification; your organization keeps responsibility for its TPR listing and for reporting completions to FMCSA.
What does the completion certificate mean?
It documents that a student finished a course and passed its final assessment in Truckcess, with a unique number and QR code anyone can scan to verify. It is a record of course completion — not a government-issued license or credential.
How much can we save versus classroom theory?
The consumer Academy is $216/year per seat; bulk seats are $109–$149 each for 12 months of access. Against classroom CDL training — $3,000–$10,000 per student for a full program — putting 20 students through Truckcess theory at $2,980 total is a small fraction of the cost.
How fast can we get started?
Card purchases issue your Seat Kit immediately. Invoice requests get a follow-up within one business day, and seats are issued as soon as the invoice is paid.
