Give every student structured CDL theory — at a fraction of your classroom cost

Buy CDL Academy seats in bulk, hand one code to each enrolled student, and keep a clean roster of who finished. Your instructors focus on behind-the-wheel; Truckcess carries the theory.

Classroom theory eats instructor hours and seat time you could spend in the yard and on the road. Truckcess moves the theory portion online — narrated, self-paced, and built around the topics in 49 CFR Part 380 Appendices A–E — so your students arrive to class already grounded in the material.

You buy a block of seats, hand a redemption code to each enrolled student, and watch completions land on an exportable roster. Registered training providers deliver their own self-certified theory curriculum on the platform under their own TPR listing.

The problem today

  • Theory classroom time competes with limited instructor and truck availability.
  • Tracking who finished which unit lives in spreadsheets and paper sign-offs.
  • Students show up to behind-the-wheel underprepared on the book knowledge.

How Truckcess helps

  • Free up instructor and truck time: Students learn theory on their own schedule with narrated lessons and spaced-repetition review, so classroom and yard time goes to what actually needs an instructor.
  • A roster you can actually defend: See who activated, who finished, and each student's per-unit assessment record — exportable as CSV, with a QR-verifiable completion certificate per student.
  • Deliver your own TPR-registered theory: If you're an FMCSA-registered provider, run your self-certified theory curriculum on Truckcess and keep control of your TPR listing and completion reporting.
  • Seats that wait for your intake: Unactivated seats never expire — buy ahead of a cohort with no clock running, and only start the 12-month window when a student activates.

CDL Schools FAQ

Does this replace our behind-the-wheel instruction?
No. Truckcess is the theory portion only — narrated lessons, practice tests, flashcards, and a pre-trip trainer. Behind-the-wheel instruction and the state road test are yours to deliver. Truckcess is not an FMCSA-registered training provider and the Academy is not, by itself, ELDT.
Can we use it as our registered theory curriculum?
Registered training providers can deliver their own self-certified theory curriculum on Truckcess under their own Training Provider Registry (TPR) listing. Your school keeps responsibility for the TPR listing, the self-certified curriculum, and reporting completions to FMCSA.
How do we track which students finished?
Your admin roster shows each code's activation status and course progress, exportable as CSV. Every finisher earns a QR-verifiable completion certificate and a per-unit assessment record you can keep on file.
What does it cost per student versus our classroom theory?
Bulk seats run $109–$149 each for 12 months of access, versus roughly $1,500–$3,000 per student for classroom theory (part of the $3,000–$10,000 full-program range). You can start with a free pilot before committing.
