Sample practice questions

Answer: Perception, reaction, and braking distance — Perception + reaction + braking distance.

A combination of vehicles with a GCWR of 26,001 lbs or more, towing a trailer rated over 10,000 lbs, requires which CDL class?

Answer: Class A — That is exactly the Class A definition (a heavy combination towing a unit rated over 10,000 lbs). Class B is a single heavy vehicle, and an endorsement never substitutes for the correct class.

How the Oklahoma CDL process works

  1. Study the official Oklahoma CDL manual from the Service Oklahoma — state exams draw from it.
  2. Pass the written knowledge tests to earn your Commercial Learner's Permit (CLP). You can take the CLP knowledge tests before completing ELDT.
  3. Complete Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) from a provider on the federal Training Provider Registry — required before your skills (driving) test. Truckcess provides the theory portion. (Exception: for the HazMat endorsement, ELDT theory is required before its knowledge test.)
  4. Pass the three-part skills test — vehicle inspection, basic control, and road driving.

The full prep course — every practice test, narrated lessons, the spoken pre-trip trainer — is one-time (Class A $69, Class B $59) with 12 months of access: mytruckcess.com/cdl.
