Truckcess is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles. How the Indiana CDL process works
- Study the official Indiana CDL manual from the Indiana BMV — state exams draw from it.
- Pass the written knowledge tests to earn your Commercial Learner's Permit (CLP). You can take the CLP knowledge tests before completing ELDT.
- Complete Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) from a provider on the federal Training Provider Registry — required before your skills (driving) test. Truckcess provides the theory portion. (Exception: for the HazMat endorsement, ELDT theory is required before its knowledge test.)
- Pass the three-part skills test — vehicle inspection, basic control, and road driving.
The full prep course — every practice test, narrated lessons, the spoken pre-trip trainer — is one-time (Class A $69, Class B $59) with 12 months of access: mytruckcess.com/cdl.
